Callister Russell nominated as Best New Brand for the Lifestyle Awards 2011
31st May 2011

Callister Russell, the award winning ultra luxury interior design consultancy for the property market, has been nominated as Best New Brand for the Lifestyle Awards 2011. Winners will be announced and presented with a crystal award at an exclusive black tie gala event for 250 guests in September 2011.

The event was founded by residential interior designer and event stylist Nicky Summer in 2006, as a way in which to support new luxury brands, suppliers and clients in the industry, as well as celebrate already established ones such as Maserati, Moet & Chandon and Grey Goose. The Lifestyle Awards have since grown to encompass interiors, architecture, fashion, travel and art and are made up of five categories with five nominees in each.

Henrietta Perry, Head of Design and Alec Watt, Managing Director of Callister Russell, were invited to attend the pre-awards drinks and dinner party held at The Brompton Club in South Kensington on March 22nd. The event was attended by nearly 120 guests including nominees, judges and friends, providing the opportunity to mingle and introduce one another and their brand. Commenting on Callister Russell, Nicky Summer said “they first came to my attention after they launched a show room in Lotts Road, Chelsea. Noting that Callister Russell had previously won the Interior Design category at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards and being a brand that exudes luxury and chic design, I thought they would be ideal nominees.”

Henrietta Perry commented “we were really honoured to have been chosen. The ethos behind the awards is “that there's no point in doing something unless it is done to the best of our ability” and that is the attitude that we aim to portray with every project that Callister Russell carry out”.

Previous awards have been received by Herbert Ypma of the HIP Hotels brand, Jacques Azagury for AZAGURY couture and fragrance, Lisa Tchenguiz for Best Hostess (London & St Tropez), the publisher and broadcaster Andrew Neil for Best Client (London & France) and 'Shutters On The Beach', Santa Monica, for Best International Hotel.
