Callister Russell, an independent interior design consultancy established for creating ultra luxury lifestyle interiors for the property market, has made its official launch by show casing their entire range at Hollow Lane House, a five bedroom mansion by developer Ypres Rose situated on the Wentworth Estate at Virginia Water, Surrey, currently for sale through Savills at £10.95million.
The 13,500 square foot of accommodation was dressed with more than £200,000 worth of furnishings, accessories and window dressings as well as entertainment equipment including the world’s largest plasma screen at 103 inches and Eric Clapton’s former pool table in the basement games room.

Callister Russell, part of the Fully Furnished Group, is being headed by Henrietta Perry who has spent the past two years with a leading London design house where she gained invaluable experience working on some of London’s most prestigious projects.

Commenting on her appointment, Henrietta explains that she wants to bring a more down to earth approach to the design of show homes and dressing properties for the market, “Interior design is still seen by many as part of the old establishment but I hope to bring a fresh look with some modern ideas. Dressing a property can help to give perspective on size and bring the house to life and there is definitely a new way of thinking coming through. Dressing a property for the market is all about knowing what will sell or let rather than a matter of personal taste and this is something I have a lot of experience in together with the confidence to express unique ideas.

I work closely with developers and estate agents, getting to know them and their expectations so that
we can transform initial concepts into staging vibrant and exciting places for people to envisage themselves living in whilst showing the property to its full potential. All furniture is custom made with specially chosen fabrics and it’s quite common for the buyer to want to buy the property with the furniture as part of the package as they have fallen in love with the overall look.”

Around 100 guests attended the launch party, including developers, estate agents, new homes companies, lettings agents and suppliers. On arrival guests received complimentary drinks, canape?s and a tour of Hollow Lane House. On departure, guests left with a goody bag with contents which reflected the exclusiveness of the Callister Russell brand.
